Enchanted Vilage

Enchanted Vilage

2015 is the year of the theme park, with so many amazing and incredible attractions being developed worldwide it’s easy to forget about some exciting new developments coming closer to home. One of which is the new Enchanted Village.

This new accommodation brings a fresh and unique experience to theme parks in the UK as instead of a hotel style accommodation the Enchanted Village will be home to 61 double lodges (all of which can sleep up to 5 people with one double bed and one bunk bed with truckle). These lodges will have the cheapest price bracket of all the current accommodation at Alton Towers at around £252.

The floor is laminated as opposed to carpet like the other accommodation in the hotels, the floor is covered with various images to further enhance the theme, for example just as you enter the lodge you can see on the floor a collection of letters giving the impression that they have been posted and in the bathroom around the bath there are water marks to make it appear that the water has flowed out of the bath. These prints on the floor add to the charm of the lodges and further enhance the theme.

As most of us are aware both hotels at Alton Towers have themed rooms and The Enchanted Village is no exception, for those looking for a premium experience then look no further than the Luxury Tree houses. The tree houses will sleep up to 8 people and contain four separate bedrooms, all of which have their own plasma TV these rooms consist of:

  • 2 x bedrooms with king size double beds
  • 1 x bedroom with 2 x single adult beds
  • 1 x bedroom with 1 x bunk bed

In the centre of the treehouses there will be a lounge area that will have a kitchenette area with microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and cutlery and crockery for 8 people. Also in the lounge area their will be a 50” Plasma TV and a games console, which brand has not been stated.

In the Enchanted Village area there is a restaurant called the Crooked Spoon where guests can enjoy a meal amongst the magical creatures in the forest and there will also be a play area for children to enjoy as well.
