Thorpe Park Resort has announced that for the first time in its 38-year history, it will open its gates at midnight on Tuesday 24th April 2018 for 1,000 lucky fans to experience its new attraction The Walking Dead: The Ride for free.

LEGOLAND Windsor Resort has officially announced their next big attraction will be called The Haunted House – Monster Party! A slight change of plans to the old Ghost haunted house ride the park originally planned to install a few years ago.

Wicker Man at Alton Towers is set to receive sponsorship from today. The sponsor of the ride will be British Gas, a major gas, and electric company.

Thorpe Park was due to be holding its Annual Pass day on Sunday 18th March however due to bad weather the event has been cancelled. A post on the parks social media channels says:

The map for the 2018 theme park season at Alton Towers has been released in the hotels prior to the park opening tomorrow! On the front of the map is a nice graphic of the wicker man ride.

The old haunted house drop tower ride that was going to be installed at Legoland looks to have been scrapped in favor of a ride similar to Hex at Alton Towers. Revised plans have been submitted to the council.

An opening date for the Wicker Man at Alton Towers has now been announced, via a newsletter published by the park the ride will be opening to the public on Saturday 17th March.
