Europa Park is due to reopen Friday 29th May and due to local German authority rules, all guests must wear a protective face mask around the park and on rides.

Merlin Entertainments have released a new policy spanning 9 pages explaining how they plan to protect employees and guests, in relation to Covid-19, when attractions are allowed to reopen.

Merlin Entertainments have been updating guests via social media channels of theme parks and midway attractions this afternoon about coronavirus. Updates across all social remain the same, but with the parks name inserted where applicable.

It's been 196 days since Thorpe Park closed its doors to the 2019 season.  Unfortunately due to coronavirus, we're going to have to wait a little longer to get a thrill ride fix.

Europa Park has announced that after delaying the opening of the theme park for 9 weeks, the park will reopen following the Coronavirus outbreak.

Theme park photography company Picsolve has entered administration. The company supplied photos for parks like Alton Towers, Thorpe Park, Chessington and many more UK and parks around the world. Deloitte was appointed as the administrator for the UK based company on Monday.

In the latest update shared by Michael Mack on twitter, the sign for Pirates in Batavia has returned. Restored to its former glory the sign for the ride remains the same, however, the facade for the ride's entrance has been changed slightly to fit in with the Adventure Club of Europe.

The Hampshire-based family theme park, Paultons Park, has announced that the launch of its new themed land Tornado Springs has been postponed until Easter 2021.
