Today it was announced that Alton Towers would be bring 'The World of David Walliams' to Alton Towers in 2020.
Scarefest is due to begin in 28 days, starting on 5th October 2019 this years event sees two new attractions added. The Attic: Terror of the Towers and Darkest Depths which will be using the space previously occupied by The Welcoming in the Mutiny Bay Courtyard.
Alton Towers are currently trialing some features on Hex - The Legend Of The Towers. For the past few years, with the exception of Scarefest the attraction has never used live actors within the show scenes.
Alton Towers is going to be celebrating national rollercoaster day with a huge event this year!
Tree Top Quest at Alton Towers Resort has reopened for the Summer 2019 season. After being closed after the smiler accident it was starting to look like the attraction near the Alton Towers Hotel was ever going to open again. Posted on Alton Towers social media channels earlier today:
Alton Towers has revealed the line up for Scarefest 2019 today. New for 2019 will be The Alton Towers Dungeon, and The Attic: Terror Of The Towers. Other attractions returning for this years event will be Project 42, Sub Speicies - The End Games and Altonville Mine Tours.
Enterprise at Alton Towers remains dormant after closing at the end of the 2018 theme park season. The ride is still undergoing its routine winter maintenance work, with the cars for the ride still lined up down the access route into the area.
