Chessington World of Adventures has featured on ITV News Behind Closed Doors, showing off some of the work going on behind the scenes to prepare for the 2021 theme park season when its safe to reopen.
New for 2021, rumoured to be named Croc Drop, Chessington's new tower will drop guests 25.6 meters from the sky, into the jaws of a crocodile.
Construction walls have come down at Chessington World of Adventures around the new drop tower ride for 2021, located in the Forbidden Kingdom.
Its been a while since UK theme parks were allowed to open, due to the second lockdown. However, with construction sites being allowed to continue to work through the lockdown, huge progress has been made to the new attraction at Chessington, rumoured to be named Croc Drop.
The Blue Barnacle has finally arrived at Chessington! After being advertised to open for the 2020 season, the attraction was delayed due to unknown reasons.
In a recent application to the UK Trademarks website, Chessington has revealed the logo and name for the new 2020 attraction, Croc Drop!

With the UK going into the second lockdown due to Covid-19 in a few days, we wanted to take one last look at Croc Drop before the park closes.
Theming continues to rise for the new ride at Chessington World of Adventures. Opening 2021, the ride still has a long way to go before being finished and being ready for its first guests!
