On Wednesday 9th May 2012 a man adventured into the Oblivion restricted area where the car drops into the ground. As shown by the photo below the man some how managed to get onto the ledge off the ride.

Over the last few years the “miss hippos fungle safari” ride has been standing but not operating. After years of the site being used for only the asylum queue line the ride location has finally started to be worked on.

At the start of 2012 Thorpe Park announced that Saw Alive would only open on selected date during the 2012 season however no one would of guessed that just two months into the main season that they would shut the ride until Fright Nights.

It has come to light that the London Dungeons have applied to move there location from being at London Bridge to next to the Sealife centre and the London Eye.

During the closed season at Chessington the old electric chair that was in the Transylvania area stopped working during the zoo days which started off rumours that it was going to leave the park after years of being hosted in the Transylvania area

Rush at Thorpe Park has reopened following it major re-fit during the closed season which happens every 3-4 years where the ride is completely taken apart and given lots of tender loving care.

All Merlin UK theme parks have now all fully reopened and today Nemesis Sub-Terra opens at Alton Towers Resort.

Tuesday 20th March 2012

Thorpe Park is now open to the public and we can now see some of the updates the park has done over the closed season. One of the major changes been done to stealth is the removal of the single rider queue line.
