All Merlin theme parks across the UK are now trying to introduce a car park charge for the up and coming season. Alton Towers has had a car park charge for years however rumour is that Chessington World Of Adventurers and Thorpe Park will get car park barriers next year.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that Octopus Gardens was to be shut to make way for a brand new water ride opening in 2011 and today we have a update of the deconstruction of the area. Most of the rides are now off site with just a few items remaining.

The 7th September 2010 was the last day for the ride Dino Dipper as the ride was going to be removed from the Adventure Land due to the building work going on with Atlantis.

Halloween is coming and Thorpe Park are planning to make it the most scariest halloween event ever. The park is open from 10am till 10pm like other Fright Nights events and this years like up has grown to be the most attractions the park has ever set out to do for halloween.

Friday the 13th may be unlucky for some however today Alton Towers Resort have changed one of there newest attractions names from Th13teen to Fou13teen for the day. The rides entrance has been changed for the day and the shop has got exclusive merchandise for the day.
