Good news for Project Amazon at Chessington World of Adventures! After waiting months for the application to be reviewed, the plans have finally been given the green light and the park can go ahead with the construction of the new area.
Construction work can officially begin on the old picnic field, adjacent to Dragons Fury. Project Amazon is the latest investment by Merlin, with the installation of 2 new flat rides and a new rollercoaster, the parks first rollercoaster since Dragons Fury was built in 2004.
We can't wait to see this space transformed into a brand new area over the next few months.
