Fright Nights 2021 Begins In 3 Days Time

Thorpe Park
Sunday 3rd October 2021

Fright Nights 2021 begins in just 3 days time and we couldn't be more excited! Over the past few weeks, we've been following the construction of all things spooky around the resort and with only a few days left, almost everything appears to be ready for guests to be spooked!

Starting at the new maze for this year, Trailers.  The restrictions board has been installed at the entrance to the attraction, warning of special effects inside the maze such as strobe lights, pyrotechnics and sudden loud noises. Signage has also been added to the new facade that we believe will be the entrance to the maze. A new SuperSpark Cinema sign has been installed, with the world Cinema as a neon light. Luckily enough, we managed to see this sign glowing at the end of our visit today.

At Creek Freak Massacre and Unchained, lots of red lights have been installed around the area and the Creek Freek maze restrictions sign has also been installed. The barriers blocking off the maze entrance have also now been removed, ready for any staff previews that might happen over the next few days. More items of themeing such as signs and a Scrabble board have been installed and placed around the area. The restrictions board for Platform 15 has also been installed for guests to view before entering the maze.

The Crows of Mawkin Meadow has made substantial progress since last weekend, with a new sign installed near the Saw The Ride entrance and so much more theming installed! Some crosses have been installed along with lots of hay and pumpkins. A sign with the areas name can be seen hanging from the old Saw Alive entrance archway. During the evening, we even saw smoke testing from the attraction, interestingly it seems smoke will be coming from barrels in this area, a unique effect we haven't seen before!

On the bridge into the park Crows flags can be seen hanging with slogans such as "Blink and they're gone" we love the idea of flags signalling when you're entering a scare zone or special event.

Over at the Stealth plaza, the busses have changed again with one of them now facing the other way. However, with the stage now installed in front of the Amity bus, the area now looks ready for a dance-off between the Lycans and the residents of Amity High. New boards can be seen next to both busses, with the crests of each school painted on them.

Other small changes around the park include some newer items in the Swarm Island tent, signs around the park requests guests do not touch the sets, limited edition Halloween Fanta flavours available from the Coke Freestyle machines and the Legacy control booth has now had a paint job instead of it saying Thorpe Park Car Park booth on it. A huge fog machine has been installed under the stage for Birthday Bash, and some new lights have been installed on the bridge into the park. When entering the park a huge new LED screen showing the Fright Nights 2021 trailer has been installed. No other changes can be seen on the Legacy structure yet but it looks amazing.

Fright Nights officially begins on Friday 8th October with a preview for Annual Pass guests on Thursday 7th.
