Fright Nights 2022 Construction Update Take 2

Thorpe Park
Saturday 20th August 2022

Fright Nights 2022 brings in just 41 days and with the park now releasing details about this year's lineup every few days it won’t be long until we know the full lineup for Fright Nights 2022.

Work on what looks to be the biggest maze in Fright Nights history is progressing well. A roof has now been added over the 4 containers, a temporary workshop can be seen next to the containers, wood to form walls and structures for the maze can be seen on the side. With lots of doors in the containers, we wonder how many routes this maze might have and what the theme will be!

A few days ago Thorpe Park announced the return of The Crows of Mawkin Meadow and in the description for the scare zone they said. “Venture even deeper into the cursed village of Mawkin Meadow” last year this scare zone took up the path connecting saw the ride to near Rush and Zodiac. It would appear this year the scare zone will use some of the saw alive queue line and surrounding area. Fence posts can be seen ready to install in the area to restrict site access. From looking at the queue line no fence posts have been removed yet. Tools can be seen in the old Fastrack line so it's apparent that work will begin on this area very soon!

Around the rest of the park, not much other work can currently be seen. Yellow markings can be seen on the floor at the Stealth entrance plaza. We presume this will be for the normal Amity High bus. Interestingly there’s only one set of markings, could this mean The Lycans won’t be returning for 2022? Work on the new entrance bridge for Creek Freak is yet to be started.
