Hyperia 10th December 2023 Update

Thorpe Park
Sunday 10th December 2023

Another week, another huge step forward for Project Exodus! Work on the tower structure next to the station has now breached the trees and can be seen from across the lake. No track has been installed on this new structure yet but it won't be long until we see track and more supports installed.

The first turn coming out of the station has also started to be installed. The transfer track system has been installed and then the first main bit of track in the circuit has been installed. Supports for the following sections of the track have been installed. It won't be long until these sections are installed and the track leading up to the lift hill is ready.

There are lots of sections of track lying around the construction site ready to be installed over the next few days.

Supports for the first drop have also been installed over the past week.

Walking down monks walk back to our car we also spotted lots of supports and track on the island behind The Swarm. With all the leaves falling, visibility into the storage area is slowly opening up. There are lots of sections of track and supports left to be installed over the next few months. Scaffolding around the maintenance shed has also been removed since our last look at the site last weekend.

It's time to say goodbye to an old friend, the old Canada Creek Railway train shed is now gone! The train shed has been flattened and only a few sections of the shed can be seen on the floor waiting to be moved into the skip. This space would make for an excellent maze location!
