Tomb Blaster Reopens Following Closed Season Refresh

Chessington World Of Adventures
Saturday 20th April 2024

Tomb Blaster has reopened at Chessington World of Adventures today after being closed since the beginning of the season.

A few surprises remained in store for us today, including refreshed smell pods, new lighting within the ride and the theming in the queue line for the attraction being refreshed and added to.

Some of the new additions in the queue line are great easter eggs for the attraction both past and present. Some are more subtle than others. Detailed drawings of some of the scenes throughout the ride have been added in the queue line along with a drawing of the laser gun used to shoot the curse away. New paintings have been painted on the walls of the internal queue line. We've never seen Tomb Blaster look so fresh.

Inside the ride, as we expected most of the catwalks/emergency exit platforms around the ride have been replaced and made more permanent.

Even Zappomatic has made an appearance in the queue line. See if you can spot him!
